The epidemic situation of COVID-19 in Hong Kong has undergone drastic changes recently.  In response to this, the Government will provide voluntary one-off free COVID-19 tests to high risk groups in the community to safeguard public health. The Government has appointed a testing agency to provide “one-stop” testing service to catering premises with seating areas. The testing agency will dispatch staff to Wong Tai Sin, Kwun Tong, Yau Tsim and Sha Tin to distribute specimen bottles to restaurant staff in the areas. The testing agency will work closely with the FEHD to determine priority set with reference to a risk-based approach, manpower resources available and number of registered restaurants.
