The Guidelines in carryong out the prescribed ash disposal procedures

If any person who is required to carry out prescribed ash disposal procedures (PADP) in a columbarium premises, they may make reference to the following guidelines:

1. Records to be kept by the ash handler who handles ashes according to section 7(2) of Schedule 5

   (A)	Within 30 days after the expiry of the “on-site claim period”
   	Record of steps taken	Specified forms
   1	Record of steps taken to carry out the “prescribed ash disposal procedures”	Appendix A
   2	Record of returning ashes and “related items” during or on the expiry of the “on-site claim period”	Appendix B
   3	Record of delivering to the Director ashes for which no eligible claim has been received on the expiry of the “on-site claim period”	Appendix C

   (B)	Within 30 days after the expiry of 12 months after the “on-site claim period”
   	Record of steps taken	Specified forms
   1	Record of delivering ashes for which competing claims have been received to the Director on the expiry of 12 months after the “on-site claim period” (if no court proceedings have been instituted)	Appendix D

   (C)	Within 30 days after the day of returning the ashes and/or related items to the claimant in accordance with the court order or after the expiry of 12 months after the “on-site claim period” (whichever is the earlier)
