The above ashes are now kept in the Temporary Ashes Storage Facility of FEHD for temporary storage. The Director will dispose of those ashes together with the containers and the items (if any) interred in the containers (the “related items”) not returned to the eligible claimants upon the expiry of 24 months from the date of the delivery of the last batch of ashes to the FEHD Temporary Ashes Storage Facility (i.e. 17 May 2021 (妙園) and 24 July 2021 (荃灣龍母佛堂)) in any manner that the Director thinks fit under section 15(1) of Schedule 5 to the Private Columbaria Ordinance, Cap.630.

If any person would like to collect the relevant set(s) of ashes and/or the related items, please contact the Private Columbaria Enforcement Team of FEHD at 2892 2731 for arrangement, otherwise they will be disposed of by the Director in any manner that the Director thinks fit.
