The above ashes are now kept in the Temporary Ashes Storage Facility of FEHD for temporary storage. The Director will dispose of those ashes together with the containers and the items (if any) interred in the containers (the “related items”) not returned to the eligible claimants upon the expiry of 24 months from the date of the delivery of the last batch of ashes to the FEHD Temporary Ashes Storage Facility (i.e. 19 December 2021 (Yan Lam Funeral Company) and 20 December 2021 (Ting Wai Monastery)) in any manner that the Director thinks fit under section 15(1) of Schedule 5 to the Private Columbaria Ordinance, Cap.630.

If any person would like to collect the relevant set(s) of ashes and/or the related items, please contact the Private Columbaria Enforcement Team of FEHD at 2892 2731 for arrangement, otherwise they will be disposed of by the Director in any manner that the Director thinks fit.
