In June 2010, the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) launched the Internet Memorial Service (IMS), a free memorial website (www.memorial.gov.hk) which enables the public to create memorial webpages for their lost loved ones and to pay tribute to them at any time and from anywhere. In September 2011, FEHD launched the mobile version of IMS.
To enhance the service provision, FEHD launches a mobile app for "memorial.gov.hk" to facilitate mobile device users to use the service anytime and anywhere they prefer. The mobile app has functions for personalised profile settings and notifications and sharing with social media. To facilitate the public, it provides three versions, namely iOS, Android and Huawei:-
- iPhone/iPad version
- Android version
- Huawei version
