It is Government's established policy objective to provide a barrier-free environment for persons with disabilities with a view to enabling them to access to premises and make use of the facilities and services therein on an equal basis with others, thereby facilitating them to live independently and fully integrate into the community.
To be in line with the above policy and facilitate government-wide collaborated efforts in enhancing the accessibility of government premises and facilities, FEHD has put in place the Access Co-ordinator and Access Officer Scheme as from 1 April 2011 to enhance the accessibility of venues / buildings under its management. The Access Co-ordinators and the Access Officers of the respective venues / buildings and their contact information are shown in the attached lists.
Members of the public can contact the Access Co-ordinators for enquiries and comments on accessibility issues and the Access Officers for assistance in accessing services and facilities within the venues / buildings.
