In view of the very limited number of parking spaces in Tsang Tsui Columbarium (the Columbarium), the FEHD has introduced a vehicle booking mechanism to maintain order and ensure smooth traffic flow. All vehicles except the authorised ones (e.g. public transport vehicles, government vehicles, etc.) must make advance booking via the booking system of the FEHD's website, otherwise they will not be allowed to enter the Columbarium. Booking details are as follows:
- The FEHD will reserve booking quotas for niche allocatees and the registered marble contractors they engage to facilitate the deposition of ashes and installation of memorial plaques. When making appointments for installation of memorial plaques, the registered marble contractors may make advance bookings for their working vehicles via the existing online booking system. The information of such vehicles will be saved and no further input is required for future bookings. If niche allocatees wish to drive to the Columbarium, they may make advance bookings through their engaged registered marble contractors via the online booking system of the FEHD. Each works booking allows a maximum of two vehicles. Once the booking is confirmed, the relevant vehicles are allowed to access the Columbarium at any time of the day. - Members of the public can also make advance booking for driving to the Columbarium to pay tribute to the deceased via the booking system 1 to 14 days prior to their planned visits. The parking spaces will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. The vehicles can gain access to the Columbarium within the appointed timeslots only. - All drivers may cancel their bookings through the booking system if they are unable to visit the Columbarium on the scheduled date and time.
Online Vehicle Access Booking System for Tsang Tsui Columbarium
Additionally, the regular MTR Bus Route K52A plies with scheduled frequency between Tuen Mun MTR Station and Tsang Tsui Columbarium during the opening hours of the Columbarium from Mondays to Sundays, including Public Holidays. Due to the very limited number of parking spaces in the Columbarium, we appeal to members of the public who have not made an advance booking to go to the Columbarium by public bus service.
