The Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) regularly reviews the online cemeteries and crematoria services provided to the public and the funeral trade.  To enhance the service quality and facilitate the application and use of the services, the FEHD will integrate and improve the existing online services for preparation of the new online system "Single Portal for Cemeteries and Crematoria Services".

Starting from 23 August 2024, applicants who wish to use online cremation booking service must pre-pay the prescribed cremation fee when submitting the application form (FEHB 135) at the Cremation Booking Offices.  Applicants who have successfully registered will be issued a token, which will be used to book online through the FEHD website an available cremation session within 15 days from the next day of the online application day.

The non-prepaid tokens issued on or before 22 August 2024 will still be valid for 60 days from the date of issuance. Therefore, the Cremation Booking Offices will cease to accept cremation booking by non-prepaid tokens with effect from 22 October 2024.
