Note: A food business licence is not required if popcorn is prepared or processed in a hygienic manner and in a machine of a type approved by the FEHD and operated in a proper manner. However, if the popcorn is prepared or processed and sold by such a machine which is also an automatic vending machine, a permit for food sold by means of a vending machine is required for the food business.
