The Garden of Forever Love at Wo Hop Shek
The Government has been actively examining proposals to improve the handling of abortuses of less than 24 weeks' gestation (Abortuses) in a holistic manner, including the provision of facilities. To this end, the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department has commissioned its first facility for keeping Abortuses at Wo Hop Shek, Fanling, since 11 April 2019.
The facility named “Garden of Forever Love” symbolises the long-lasting care and love of parents, society and the Government. In a scenic and serene setting, the garden provides about 300 keeping spaces, with a stand for offering flowers, a board for placing best wishes cards and a wall for mounting commemorative plaques. The service is free of charge. As all keeping spaces for abortuses in the Garden of Forever Love at Wo Hop Shek have been used up, starting today, this Department will only accept applications for abortus keeping services in the Garden of Forever Love at Cape Collinson.
