4 September	Ms Rhonda Lo (left), Coordinator (Hawker Assistance Scheme), represents the Department to receive from the Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung (centre), the Gold Prize for the Partnership Award in the Civil Service Outstanding Service Award Scheme 2015. The award winning project displays our strong collaboration with the Fire Services Department in ensuring fire safety in fixed-pitch hawker areas.
14 to 15 September	The Centre for Food Safety hosts the "Veterinary Public Health Workshop 2015". Experts from the United Kingdom and the United States share their expertise on "foodborne listeriosis and norovirus infection".
15 September	The Centre for Food Safety holds the Food Safety Seminar for Trade 2015. Officials and food trade representatives exchange views on current food safety issues in Hong Kong.
25 September and 9 October	The Department arranges memorial sailings during the Chung Yeung Festival for the public to pay tribute to their lost loved ones whose ashes were scattered at sea.
